After serving the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for 22 years, the Chief Executive Officer (COO), Subhan Ahmed, resigned from his post.
According to a statement released by the PCB, Subhan enjoyed his time and now wants to move on. “I enjoyed my time here working with the PCB. I would like to thank everyone for their support and believe they shown in me throughout,” Subhan said.
Some reports earlier suggested that Subhan had some poor relations with newly-appointed PCB’s CEO Wasim Khan. Starting up as a scorer in the PCB, Subhan reached the higher corridors of the only cricket governing body in the country.
On the other hand, PCB’s chairman Ehsan Mani thanked Subhan for his services. “He was an honest and hardworking individual. His services for PCB will never be forgotten,” Mani said.
