Petition rejected for Chairman PCB’s removal

Lahore : The Lahore High court has rejected the petition for termination of PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan on his approach in revival of bilateral series with India.

Justice Shahid Karim turned down the plea as it was not maintainable before the court and advised the Petitioner to contact a relevant forum for his required relief.

The petitioner Muhammad Ali Gilani pleaded that Shaharyar Khan as PCB Chairman held talks with BCCI in an unrespectable manner for revival of bilateral series with India.

It was further pleaded by the petitioner that PCB chairman held talks with his Indian counterpart for the agreed series before taking the government into confidence thereby damaging Pakistan’s image in the world.
