PFF to conduct coaching clinics for females in Gilgit-Baltistan


Lahore: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) will conduct coaching clinics for female footballers in Danyore, Gilgit and Gulmit, Gojal, Hunza on September 3 and 4, respectively.

The football body is aiming to encourage young female footballers in the Gilgit Baltistan region.

The first coaching clinic will be conducted in Muhammad Abad jk ten Danyore, Gilgit Football Ground on September 3. The coaching clinic in Gulmit, Gojal, Hunza will take place at the FG Boys High School Football Ground on September 4.

PFF’s General Secretary Zainli said the coaching clinics are just the first steps towards football development in Gilgit-Baltistan.

“Development of women’s football is as equally important to us as that of men’s. And we know how Gilgit Baltistan is rich with talent, especially the girls there,” said Zainli. “It was all about acting on it and creating opportunities for the players up north. The coaching clinics are just our first step to help the region and its football players,” she concluded.
