Pakistan Hockey Federation to take players’ online fitness Test


Lahore: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has also announced to take players’ online fitness Tests on April 23 to overview their fitness during current nationwide forced lockdown.

According to the details, the national team’s head coach Khuawaj Junaid has sent the Test’s plan to 48 players. The test plan includes Lunges, Modified Plank, Push-ups, Burpees, Body Squats, and Jumping Squats.

Junaid told ARY News that the decision to take online Tests has been taken to check the players’ flow during this quarantine period.

“Through these tests, we will try to analyse players’ fitness level. All the players have been adised to send a one-minute clip while doing all the mentioned exercises,” he said.

“Once we get videos from the players, we will overview each and every player individually and advise them on their weaknesses,” he added.


It is worth mentioning here that PCB started the trend of taking only fitness Tests following the lockdown situation in the country due to widely-spread coronavirus. The cricket board conducted two-day online fitness tests which were attempted by 16 centrally contracted player.
