Kevin Pietersen wants introduction of ’12-run’ rule in T20 cricket

Karachi: Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen wants the introduction of a ’12-run’ rule in T20 cricket if the ball travels for more than 100 meters.

The 40-year-old Pietersen also mentioned England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and asked if they can implement this in ‘The Hundred’, scheduled to start in July this year.

“I want an addition to the rules in T20 cricket!” Pietersen tweeted.

“If a player hits a 6 that goes over 100m, I want a 12 awarded!” he added and mentioned the International Cricket Council (ICC).
