Former English batsman, Kevin Pieterson has praised his Quetta Gladiators’ teammate, Ahmed Shahzad for his blistering innings against Bangladesh in the World T20.
He congratulated him for such an impressive comeback in the team, where he scored 52 runs on 39 deliveries. He had a major role in Pakistan’s 55 run win against the Bengal tigers.
But, KP, being a senior to Shahzad in Quetta’s team advised him that he could have converted his half century into a ton, had he not play the helicopter shot for glory.
He advised his young teammate to avoid playing helicopter shot and leave this shot to Pieterson himself and MS Dhoni. He posted a message for Ahmed Shahzad on his instagram.
Ahmed Shahzad’s 52 runs innings comprised of eight boundaries and he hardly played any uncontrolled shot during his 39-ball stay in the middle.
