‘Its okay to play cricket behind closed doors’ Ben Stokes

Manchester: England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes said that ‘cricket behind closed doors’ is not a big deal at all as the health and wellbeing of everybody is important.

“I think there should be no problem in playing cricket without a crowd as at the end of the day, cricket, it’s just a sport and the safety, health, and wellbeing of everybody involved is the most important thing right now,” he said.

“I believe players wouldn’t lose any competitive edge without a crowd,” he added.

It must be noted here that Stokes is currently completing his first-ever half-marathon to help raise funds for National Health Services (NHS) charities.
