LAHORE: The sensitive series against England will not be allowed to become a family tour. Pakistani cricketers will be allowed to keep up with their wives and kids for two test matches only. No one will be allowed to call anyone during the Conditioning camp, One-Day or Twenty20 series.

According to details, it’s been observed that Pakistani players have a tendency to keep their families during extended tours. However limited permission has been given to players this time to avoid distraction keeping in view the sensitivity of England tour.

The Board has decided on the suggestions of chief selector Inzamam and captain Misbah to organize a 13-14 days camp at Hampshire’s Rose Bowl to get the players acquainted with English conditions.

The players would be residing in a hostel and more than five million rupees would be spent on this training camp. The board feels that it would be inappropriate for the players to stay with their wives during this training period.

At the end of Conditioning camp Pakistani squad will begin its official tour. As soon as the warm-up matches take place the English Board will take over all expenses and act as a host for the ‘Green Caps.’
