The prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is highly impressed with consistent Babar Azam who continued his white-ball cricket form in Test cricket against Australia.
After failing in the first inning of the opening Pakistan vs Australia Test, Babar smashed a prominent 104-run knock while leading the green shirts from the front.
The World Cup-winning captain, Khan has congratulated Babar via his former teammate Wasim Akram who is a part of the commentary team for the series.
“PM Khan messaged me to wish all the best to Babar Azam for the way he batted. He also mentioned that in his cricketing opinion Babar is such a good batsman and has a great technique that he should bat at number four eventually.” Akram said while commentating on Day 4.
The former cricketer also advised the team management to send Babar at number four, a perfect position for him to bat strongly.
