The Prime Minister of Pakistan and the former world cup winning captain, Imran Khan is likely to attend the high-voltage game of Asia Cup 2018 between Pakistan and India on Wednesday.

Imran Khan is leaving for Saudia Arabia on Tuesday for his first official visit as the Prime Minister of the country, he is expected to later stop at Dubai to witness the live action of the all-important match.

Sarfraz Ahmed is excited to hear the news and he believes it can be a morale booster for his side.

“Obviously the presence of Imran Khan will be great for the match as he has fans on both sides of the border,” said Sarfraz. “From Pakistan’s perspective, it will be nice feeling to see him amongst the audience as the Prime Minister of Pakistan as it will serve as an extra motivation for the side,” he added.

Pakistan and India will take on each other for the first time since the final of Champions Trophy 2017, where the former registered a convincing win by 180 runs.

Pakistan have been constantly playing at the venue of Dubai, whereas, India will be playing in the UAE after twelve years.
