Draft for the second edition of Pakistan Super League took place in Dubai on October 19. The draft featured some big international names that have made the franchises even stronger.
ESPNCricinfo conducted a poll on their website, in which they asked which PSL franchise has the strongest squad.
People shown fair bit of interest in the poll and 12,724 votes have been casted so far and Karachi Kings are leading with a huge margin as they got 4,725 votes, which are 37.13% of votes.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi are rated as having the second strongest squad in the PSL with 24.08% of votes against their name.
Lahore Qalandars got 19.49% votes, whereas the reigning champions, Islamabad United that have made very few changes in their squad, have got 11.71% votes.
The runners up of the inaugural season of the Pakistan Super League, Quetta Gladiators have received just 7.38% of the votes.
Karachi Kings have got Sri Lanka’s legendary duo of Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawerdene in their ranks. The stylish left-handed from the Island will lead the franchise this time instead of Shoaib Malik.
Another valuable addition in ARY’s owner franchise is the giant from Caribbean, Chris Gayle and along with his hard-hitting teammate, Kieron Pollard. Moreover, Babar Azam’s inclusion in the franchise have also make it look more solid than before.
