Karachi: A must-watch cricketer in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five, Sharjeel Khan, is highly prepared to come true on the expectation of his and Karachi Kings’ fans.
Khan, 30, talked to ARY Sports exclusively at the UBL Sports Complex where a practice match was played between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings. He shared his excitement for the upcoming season of the league and determined to exhibit the same power show he used to do earlier.
“I am highly looking forward to representing Kings on a higher note in PSL 5. I am prepared well and pretty focused on my preparations particularly. I want to start up things on a stronger note and contribute worthy for my team,” he said.
“I am just aiming to a strong start in the PSL. Centuries and 50s are not a part of my plan for now. I am confident to help my team whenever they need me,” he added upon being asked.
The left-handed opener is satisfied with the strong combination of Kings, however, he thinks that in T20 format only a player can change the entire results. “We have a strong team with some really big names. Either bowling or batting, we are a good side overall. We are all gelled up and looking forward to playing this amazing tournament,” he maintained.
Sharjeel, a very popular cricket among Pakistani fans, shouts outs for the PSL 5 and Karachi Kings. He asked fans to come out and support his team, him and the entire cricket league, taking place completely in Pakistan from February 21.
It must be noted here that PSL is scheduled from February 20 to March 22 in four cities of Pakistan respectively including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan.
