The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge showed off their cricketing skills during their visit to National Cricket Academy, Lahore on Thursday.
The Royal couple arrived at the academy where Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani and Chief Executive Wasim Khan warmly welcomed the honorable guests alongside Pakistan cricket stars.
William and Kate met former Test cricketer and national team’s bowling coach Waqar Younis, Test batsman Azhar Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hasan Ali and former captain of Pakistan women’s team Sana Mir at the prestigious function where they learned about the programme promoting sport as an integral part of child development, encouraging social integration, increased self-esteem and skills development.
The sporty couple took part in the match with a group of children, Prince William impressed his hosts by hitting a fantastic six while Kate was caught out twice.
The officials also presented some gifts to the Royal couple including a cricket bat for their children.
