Test probables to play practice match before Pakistan-Bangladesh Test


Lahore: Pakistan test probables will play a three-day practice match before the Test against Bangladesh at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from January 30th.

National Selection Committee has summoned four more players for a practice match, the players called up are Mohammad Hasnain, Ashfaq Ahmed, Faizan Riaz, and Zeeshan Malik.

T20I captain Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan has also reported in the camp after the conclusion of the T20I series against Bangladesh in Lahore.

The selection committee has decided to review the performance of the players in the three-day match before the team’s announcement.¬†The team for the first Test will be announced after a three-day practice match.

In the selection committee meeting, the coaches of the teams presented the future course of action. Different coaches will conduct cricket development programs in their respective areas and the open trials will be held in Central Punjab, Lahore, Sialkot, and Faisalabad. The talented players will be given training at the provincial association headquarters.

It must be noted that Pakistan and Bangladesh will play the first Test at Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi from February 7-11.
