The draft for the third season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will take place on November 12th at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore.
The five PSL franchise, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars have retained nine players, whereas, the new team Multan Sultans have picked their nine cricketers to be at par with the other franchises ahead of the draft.
Each team will pick eleven players during the draft from a large pool comprised of national and international cricketers.
Lahore Qalandars will have the first pick, while Islamabad United will have the second pick in the draft. Karachi Kings will have the third turn followed by Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans.
The franchises will have one pick from Platinum, Diamond, and Gold category followed by two picks from Silver and Emerging category. Whereas, teams will be able to pick up to four players in the Supplementary category.
Karachi Kings have opted to skip their first pick in the Emerging Round, they will nominate a player after the conclusion of their talent hunt program.
