PSL 5 action shifts to Multan, Rawalpindi from February 26


Karachi: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five action will now be shifted to two new cities, Multan and Rawalpindi from February 26, Wednesday.

The six teams have started to arrive in respective cities as Multan will host three matches whereas Rawalpindi will host eight.

February 24 and 25 are the rest days of the tournament and the action will begin on February 26 at Multan Cricket Stadium where Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi will take on each other.

In the first-leg, four matches were played at National Stadium in Karachi whereas three were played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The fifth edition started with a glittering opening ceremony and after the show, Gladiators faced United and defeated them by three wickets.

Gladiators and United have played three matches and have won two until now. United is at number one on league’s points table with Gladiators sitting on two.

Lahore Qalandars is the only side who have not won the match as they got beaten in both the matches played.

Karachi Kings, the most followed franchise will play their third match of February 28 against Multan Sultans in Multan Cricket Stadium.
