KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board chairman, Najam Sethi had a meeting with Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah along with his security team where they discussed important information about hosting Pakistan Super League final in Karachi.
Murad Ali Shah is focused to make it a memorable event for Karachiites as they have been deprived of international cricket for about a decade now.
“Citizens of Karachi are excited to watch the PSL final, I will try my best to make it a historical event by every aspect,” said the Chief Minister Sindh.
“I want to bring international cricket back to Karachi,” he added.
The CM Sindh also instructed IG Police and Deputy DG Police to conduct a full-dressed rehearsal, which is likely to take place in the coming thirty days.
“Full-dress rehearsal will boost up the confidence of international community towards Pakistan,” he told.
Moreover, Murad Ali Shah decided to involve SSP Security as security advisor during the construction work in National Stadium Karachi. The motive behind this decision is to improve security on entrances and exits of the venue.
The meeting was also attended by Secretary Interior Sindh, Principle Secretary Sohail Rajput, Additional IG Karachi, Commissioner Karachi, DG Rangers and others
The final of PSL 3 is expected to be played on March 25 at National Stadium Karachi.
