‘PSL gave me fond memories’ says Erin Holland


The Miss World Australia and presenter of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Erin Holland had a great time working with big names like Ramiz Raja, Bazid Khan and Zainab Khan in the only cricketing league of Pakistan.

“It was an amazing experience for me working in this league and I had a valuable time here, especially with Ramiz,” said Holland while talking to the ARY Sports.

The 29-year-old, who is presenting PSL for the very first time along with Zainab Abbas and Fakhr-e-Alam, rated the PSL highly praising the quality cricket and young talent. “There are some very passionate youngsters who are hungry to perform well which makes this league special,” said Holland who is inspired by young pacers Muhammad Musa, Muhammad Husnain and Haris Rauf.

While answering to a question regarding her favorite team of the PSL, Holland said that it will be a win for Pakistan as people here got to see international cricket at their home ground. “I think it’s a win for cricket but I want Quetta Gladiators to win their first title of the league,” said Holland who called Gladiators a formidable side.

Holland also thanked Karachiites for showing immense support to cricket in the city of lights and looking forward to seeing yet another jam-packed contest of the extravaganza.

“It is heartening to watch people supporting cricket madly here in Karachi. I want people to come in numbers on the final day of the event and finish this event on high,” said Holland.

It merits mentioning here that Holland had represented renowned leagues around the world including IPL.
