Punjab Football Association appoints normalization committee’s chairman


Karachi: The Punjab Football Association (PFA)’s Normalisation Committee (NC) appointed its chairman on Thursday, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) confirmed. 

According to the details, Mr. Shaukat Ali Khan has been elected for the post. The decision has been finalized in the PFA NC meeting attended by a three-member committee.

Further in the meeting, the ban on former PFA president Sardar Naveed Haider Khan was upheld and the committee also decided to take disciplinary action against other officials including Mian Rizwan, Rana Shaukat, and Asghar Khan.

Meanwhile, the committee also seeks details of accounts from the former PFA officials.

On the other hand, the PFF Normalisation Committee also held a meeting via video conference in which important matters pertaining to the revised roadmap for elections due to the COVID-19 pandemic were discussed.
