LAHORE: The Punjab Government has suspended all sports activities across the province due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.
According to the Sports Minister of Punjab – Rai Taimoor Bhatti, they have immediately suspended all sports activities due to a rise in COVID-19 cases across the province.
“Public health and safety are very important for us that’s why we decided to call off all sports activities across the province. I request everyone to follow COVID-19 SoPs to avoid the spread of this virus,” he said.
In connection to this decision, the National Hockey team’s skills camp was called off and players were allowed to go back to their homes.
