Punjab topped the medal tally in the second Quaid-i-Azam Inter Provincial Games with 69 gold, 33 silver and 23 bronze medals with an aggregate count of 115 medals.
The second edition of inter-provincial games were kicked off on the birthday of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on December 25 with a colourful opening ceremony.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remained the second most successful province in the event bagging 18 gold, 16 silver and 36 bronze medals and an overall tally of 70.
Whereas, Balochistan grabbed the third spot on the table having won 17 gold, 19 silver and 29 bronze medals. The athletes from Balochistan clinched 60 medals overall.
Sindh stayed at the fourth position with 13 gold, 20 silver and 27 bronze medals, overall 60 medals.
Athletes from Islamabad grabbed 4 gold, 11 silver and 28 bronze medals. Whereas, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir could not win a gold, however, Gilgit Baltistan won 6 silver and 14 bronze. On the other hand, AJK claimed 2 silver and 13 bronze medals.
The closing ceremony of the event will take place on Friday, December 29.
