SHARJAH: Maratha Arabians beat Misbah-led Punjabi Legends by 14 runs in the ninth clash of the first T10 League clash here at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Punjabi Legends lost the match but qualified to the semifinal under dramatic circumstances after Carlos Brathwaite’s last-ball six helps.

Batting first, Maratha Arabians put a massive 130 on board. Losing the two openers cheaply in the start of their innings, Arabians’ Rossouw led the charge and hit a massive 67 off 27 balls.

Legends’ Faheem Ashraf took two wickets while Jordan and Bopara took 1 each.

Punjabi Legends captain Misbah won the toss and chose to bowl first in the must-win game for both the teams. Imad Wasim led Marathas in the absence of Sehwag who is suffering from an injury.
