Qadir seeks equal treatment for tainted trio

Pakistan’s former cricketer and a quality leg spinner Abdul Qadir has shared his opinion on the spot fixing scandal trio. Qadir, who took 368 international wickets for Pakistan, believes that the tainted trio should be treated equally and no one should be given preferential treatment.

Qadrir expressed these views while talking to a government news agency.

“Now as all three have completed their punishments and are also cleared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) so all of them should be treated in the same way,”

He added that it would be unfair to the Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt if Mohammad Amir is allowed to play international cricket for Pakistan and others are sidelined.

“When a player has completed punishment for his wrongdoings then there is no reason to stop him back [from playing the sport],”
