Qatar seeks Pakistan’s assistance in hosting the FIFA World Cup

Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani during his meeting with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa tried to learn from Pakistan Army’s security domain and sought help for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

ISPR revealed that Prime Minister of Qatar has talked on these issues as General Qamar Bajwa is on an official tour of the country.

The army chief also met the Commander Qatar Emiri Land Forces Maj-Gen Muhammed Ali Ghanim al Ghanim and Commander Qatar Emiri Guard Major General Hazza bin Khalil al Shahwani.

Qatar PM has hailed Pakistan’s contribution in development and growth of the country and their contribution in bringing peace in the region.

“The people of Qatar greatly value the people of Pakistan and trust their time-tested commitment for working in Qatar,” he said.

Commander Qatar Emiri Land Forces praised Pakistan Army’s professionalism and performance in the fight against terrorism.
