Karachi: Quetta Gladiators’ head coach and former Pakistani Test cricketer Moin Khan highly rated Karachi Kings for the upcoming fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
In a sports seminar conducted in Karachi, Khan shared his views about the most followed franchise of the PSL. He said Kings have developed a strong squad for the fifth edition of the league.
“No doubt, Kings have picked up a strong squad for PSL 5. To be honest, they are the real threat to Gladiators in this year’s PSL. They have potent combinations in all departments and they will look a strengthful side,” he said.
It must be noted here that Kings led by left-arm all-rounder Imad Wasim include number 1 T20I ranked batsman Babar Azam, explosive left-handed opener Sharjeel Khan, England’s opening batsman Alex Hales, and all-rounder Cameron Delport. In bowling, they have Giant-killer young Umer Khan, Aamir Yamin, Liam Plunkett, Umaid Asif, and Usama Mir.
The fifth episode of the PSL is scheduled from February 20 to March 22 in four cities of Pakistan. Lahore will host 14 matches, Karachi will host 9, Multan and Rawalpindi will host three and eight matches respectively.
