LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selectors have included left arm pacer Rahat Ali in place of Junaid Khan in the World Cup 2015 squad, ARY News reports.
The mega event is scheduled to kick off from February 14th while the green shirts will open its campaign against arch-rivals India on Feb 15th at Adelaide Oval.
Junaid Khan has been ruled out of the 15 man squad in the World Cup due to an injury.
Rahat Ali has only played a single one day in his career in which he conceded 34 runs and remained wicketless.
Former cricketer Basit Ali has crticized the PCB’s decision.
“Decision to send a bowler, who has just played a single ODI in his career for World Cup, is totally unjust”, he said.
