Former Test cricketer Ramiz Raja applauded the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for successfully holding dialogues with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) as they confirmed Pakistan tour, split into different phases.
“In the end it’s a great result for both! Mr. Ehsan Mani and Mr. Wasim Khan were able to make a convincing case for Pakistan and Bangladesh was gracious to alter its stance and see the reason behind Pak’s viewpoint,” Raja tweeted.
Bangladesh cricket team will play three T20Is in Lahore firstly on January 24, 25 and 27 respectively. They will be then back to play the first Test of two-matches series just before the fifth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), from February 7-11 in Rawalpindi.
After PSL 5, Bangladesh will tour Karachi in the last phase of the tour and play only ODI on April 3 and the last Test from April 5-9.
It must be noted here that earlier BCB chairman Nazmul Hasan announced to play only a shorter format in Pakistan according to their government’s directives.
