Ramiz Raja inspired by Imran Khan’s interest for Pakistan cricket

The member of Pakistan’s 1992 World Cup squad Ramiz Raja praised his ex-captain Imran Khan for showing immense interest for Pakistan’s cricket when they met the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Friday ahead of the World Cup.

Pakistan’s former Test cricketer Ramiz said that Khan is clear on the game and his tips will help the national team to compete strongly in the mega event.

“Met the great Imran Khan along with the Pak WC team. It was inspirational listening to him. His clarity on the game is sensational. The gist was to never give up and to fight till the end and back yourself to win from any stage. Couldn’t have been a better way to start WC march,” Ramiz tweeted.

It merits mentioning here that the patron-in-chief of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Imran Khan had a meeting with the national team members along with the coaching staff ahead of the World Cup which is scheduled to start from May 30 in England and Wales.

Khan motivated the team players to show their strength in the extravaganza and represent Pakistan in the best possible way. He also advised the team members to show sportsman spirit being the ambassadors of their country.

The national team will leave for the UK on April 23 where they will play England in a five-match ODI series before taking on West Indies in their first match of the Wolrd Cup on May 31 at Trent Bridge.
