Former Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Rashid Latif thinks that leg-spinner Yasir Shah must be dropped if he doesn’t perform in ongoing Pakistan and Sri Lanka second Test in Karachi.
Yasir, who has been out of form since the South African tour earlier this year was again wicketless in the first innings as Sri Lanka scored 271.
Rashid in a video said, Yasir should go back to National Cricket Academy (NCA) and work with newly appointed spin bowling consultant Mushtaq Ahmed.
” If he doesn’t perform in the fourth innings of this Test, he should be rested and needs to go back to the basics by working with Mushtaq Ahmed at NCA,”
The 33-year-old was dropped in the final XI for the first Test in Rawalpindi and was released from the squad to work with Mushtaq at NCA.
