KARACHI: Former pacer Umar Gul thinks that the remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6 will help players in preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Talking exclusively in ARY News’ program ‘Sports Room‘, Gul said PSL has given a solid platform to the players to prepare them strongly for the international stage.
“PSL is a big platform for players to make themselves competent. If the remaining sixth edition of the league takes place, it will definitely give additional matches to the players for T20 World Cup preparations,” he said.
Remember, T20 World Cup is currently scheduled in October-November this year in India. But, due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in India, the mega event may move to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
