Former Australian skipper and legendary batsman Ricky Ponting has been inducted into “Sports Australia Hall of fame” in order to recognize his services for Australian cricket.
Under his captaincy Australia won 2003 and 2007 world cup and one of Australia’s most successful captain. In his illustrious career he amassed 27000 international runs with the help of 71 centuries.
