Pakistan’s former fielding coach, Steve Rixon told that he enjoyed working with Pakistani players, however, it was Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) lack of professionalism that forced him to quit the job.
He stated that he wanted to work with Pakistan till World Cup 2019, but the circumstances were not feasible for him to work till the mega cricketing event.
“Seriously, the PCB not being a professional unit and doing things they should. If they want outsiders to the country doing the job make sure you look after them,” Rixon said while talking to Fairfax Media.
The former Australian further said that if the PCB want to have services of foreigners, they should take good care of them.
“They’re losing good people because of their stupidity and lack of professionalism” he said.
Pakistan were vulnerable in the field in Asia Cup 2018, which was their first assignment since the departure of Steve Rixon.
