Real Madrid’s star striker, Cristiano Ronaldo is buckled up to become the top scorer in the ongoing La Liga season despite of being four goals behind Barcelona’s Luis Suarez.
The Portuguese striker is once again proving that he has a fighting soul. He fought hard in the El Classico clash and scored a late goal, he fought hard to get fit before Manchester City’s bout and he fought hard to get back in form when many were claiming that Ronaldo’s glory days are gone.
The top scorer in La Liga receives ‘Pichichi’ award, which is named after legendary Athletic Club striker Rafael ‘Pichichi’ Moreno.
Ronaldo has claimed the Pichichi award for three times in the recent years. He has scored 31 goals in the season so far, whereas, Suarez is leading the race with 35 goals. However, the Portuguese striker is determined to play against Valencia and Deportivo La Coruna where he can surpass Suarez.
