Islamabad United’s vice-captain and spearhead Rumman Raees has been advised a rest for three days by doctors sources confirmed.
Rumman Raees injured his knee badly during Islamabad United’s contest against Quetta Gladiators on Wednesday when he dived while policing the straight boundary and got his knee stuck in the ground.
The left-arm pacer looked in serious pain, he was stretched out from the boundary to the dressing room.
Rumman went through scans afterwards, but MRI report did not show any severe damage, but he has been advised a three-day rest, which makes his inclusion in United’s next game against Lahore Qalandars doubtful.
He has been an integral part of Islamabad United throughout the PSL. He also captained the troops in absence of Misbah Ul Haq in the first two games of the PSL, where he steered them for a win against Multan Sultans.
