Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo hails Pakistan pace attack

Lahore: Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo has hailed Pakistan pace attack and termed green shirts bowling attack as one of the best attacks in T20I cricket.

“Pakistan always have fantastic fast bowlers and particularly in T20I, they have all the varieties,” Russell said in the post-match presser.

Russell is not just missing Mushfiqur Rahim but also pointed out the absence of Shakib-ul-Hasan and Saifuddin.

“We are missing three first-choice players in the team, Saifuddin, Mushfiqur and Shakib but it is a great opportunity for young players,” he added.

South African also added that he is enjoying the time in Lahore, “It is my first time in Pakistan and the experience has been great, the crowd is enthusiastic and the hospitality has been great” he maintained.

Russell looked unsatisfied with the behavior of the pitch but it should not be underestimated that they were up against a great Pakistan team.

“We will look to give everyone an opportunity for the next match as we are 2-0 down in the series,” he concluded.

It must be noted that Pakistan thrashed Bangladesh in 2nd T20I by nine wickets and also won the series after October 2018. Men in green now have to win the final match in order to retain the number one spot.
