Sadiq Mohammad backs Dean Jones’ statement
Sharjeel Khan plays on off side.

Former Pakistan’s cricket great Sadiq Mohammad has backed Australian’s legend’s statement for Sharjeel Khan by saying that he played the two dot balls purely on merit.

During the opening match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017, the aggressive Islamabad United’s opener Sharjeel Khan played two dot balls, which came out as alleged spot-fixing by the batsman.

However, Dean Jones earlier claimed that the two dot balls Sharjeel played were not suspicious from cricketing point of view.

Mohammad Yousuf will be the next witness for Sharjeel Khan to get his statement recorded before the tribunal.
