Karachi: Former England’s cricketer Nasser Hussain praised ex-Pakistani opener, Saeed Anwar, by replying to his popular century knock against India in Chennai in 1997.

Taking notice of glimpses of Anwar’s 194-run knock on Twitter, Hussain wrote “Love this old footage, Saeed Anwar was such an elegant player.”

It must be noted here that the above mentioned Anwar’s inning was undisputedly one of his memorable knocks.

He represented Pakistan in 55 Tests and 247 ODIS from 1989 and 2003. He had scored 4052 runs at an average of 45.52 in Tests whereas in ODIs, he scored 8824 runs at an average of 39.21.
