Saim Ayub remained unbeaten with 79 runs off 104 balls and helped Sindh U19 beat Baluchistan U19 by 123 runs to win the National U19 One-Day Tournament.
Saim laid a solid foundation for his team after they decided to bat first in all-important final contest. They posted 250-9 in 50 overs.
Mohammad Taha, who got the man-of-the-tournament award for his 153 runs and 13 wickets, was the other prominent contributor from Sindh with 62 runs off 78 balls. He along with Saim put 113 runs together on the scoreboard.
“It was a fantastic tournament and I really enjoyed my time here. I tried my level best to perform according to my strength and I am happy to receive the man-of-the-tournament award,” Taha said while talking to the media.
Baluchistan’s Mohammad Junaid bowled brilliantly by taking six wickets while conceding 32 runs.
In reply, Baluchistan were bowled out for just 127 runs. Haseebullah scored 56 runs for his team.
Amir Ali bagged four wickets while Arish Ali Khan and Mohammad Taha took three wickets for Sindh.
