Salman Butt summoned by ICC anti corruption unit

DUBAI: Anti Corruption Unit of International Cricket Council (ICC) has summoned disgraced Pakistani cricketer Salman Butt, reports.

Salman Butt has been called by ICC’s anti-corruption unit on the request of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan.

He is expected to appear before the unit in Dubai soon.

It is being expected that the cricket’s governing body will allow Butt to play domestic cricket after the hearing.

It should be noted that pacer Mohammad Amir has already made his return to domestic cricket.

Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir were involved in a spot fixing scandal in 2010, in a test match against England.
