Mr Salman Iqbal shares last conversation with late Dean Jones


Karachi: The owner of Karachi Kings, Mr. Salman Iqbal shared late Dean Jones and he discussed a young talent from Punjab just hours before he passed away.

Taking to Twitter, Kings’ owner shared the last voice recording he received from Jones in which he was discussing a young Pakistani talent.

“I spoke to you Dean Jones just this morning, we were discussing a young talent from Punjab,” he wrote. Meanwhile, Mr. Salman was extremely saddened by the demise.

“Shocking! Utterly shocking! I spoke to you. You loved Pakistan cricket and u were always available to groom young talent. RIP my friend, still in a shock!! Rest in peace,” he added. 

It must be noted here that former Australian cricketer-cum-coach and commentator Jones passed away due to cardiac arrest in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, Jones after taking breakfast was chatting with his colleagues. Suddenly, he fell down, collapsed and was taken to the hospital immediately. Upon reaching a local hospital, he was declared dead by the doctors.
