Out-of-form Sana Mir once again got the support of Bismah Maroof despite no performance last year and she is likely to get a place in Pakistan’s squad for upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia on the basis of just experience.
Bismah, in a presser at National Stadium Karachi, when asked about Sana’s future following his poor performance, she once again backed her.
“She has been a performer for us and her experience is worthy. See, the experience is very important for any team to participate in bigger events like the World Cup,” Bismah said for Sana who took just four wickets and scored 21 runs in four matches in the ongoing National Triangular T20 Women’s Cricket Championship.
It must be noted here that Sana has scored just eight runs in the last nine T20Is at an average of 4. She has taken eight T20I wickets.
