Lahore: Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) will arrive in Pakistan tomorrow for a week to play three T20 matches and a fifty over match at Gaddafi Stadium and Aitchison College.
The squad is led by former Sri Lankan captain and MCC president Kumar Sangakkara and will play their first game on February 14th.
According to the schedule announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the visiting side will face Lahore Qalandars at Gaddafi Stadium in the first match.
The second fixture will be held at Aitchison College on February 16th against Pakistan Shaheens in a fifty-over fixture.
At the same venue, the MCC will meet Northern and Multan Sultans in 20-over matches on 17 and 19 February respectively.
The 18 member squad include Ravi Bopara, Micheal Burgess, Oliver Hannon-Dalby, Fred Klaassen, Michael Leask, Arron Lilley, Imran Qayyum, Will Rhodes, Safyaan Sharif, Roelof van der Merwe, Ross Whiteley, Liam Dawson, Samit Patel, and Phil Salt.
It must be noted that this is for the first time in 48 years that MCC will tour Pakistan, last time an MCC side toured Pakistan was in 1973.
