Sarfaraz Ahmed
Sarfaraz's fans to gather outside his residence to support former skipper

The Pakistan cricket board (PCB) on Friday have sacked Sarfaraz Ahmed as captain from all three formats which made his fans unhappy.

The cricket fans in Karachi have planned to gather outside the residence of former skipper on October 20 (Sunday) under the hashtag #WeStandWithSarfaraz where the crowd will protest against the decision taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The wicketkeeper-batsman was not only removed from the captaincy but also dropped from both Test and T20I squads ahead of the Australia tour. The decision comes weeks after Pakistan was whitewashed by an inexperienced Sri Lanka side in Lahore

The news of Sarfaraz’s removal flooded the social media with mixed reactions as many cricket enthusiasts oppose the decision while some of them appreciated it.
