Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed lashes out at his players during their match against India on Sunday at Manchester.
According to the sources, Sarfraz bashed players in the dressing room and said that he knows about grouping against him. The captain lost his temper in a team meeting after the humiliating 89-run defeat at the hands of India.
The sources further informed that Sarfraz said that if he gets removed from captaincy then many other players will lose their place from the national team. He warned the players to perform well in upcoming matches which is so important for the team in order to qualify for the semi-final of the World Cup.
It is pertinent to mention here that the defeat against India has raised many questions over the team management and players role.
The players were spotted in night clubs and sheesha cafe before an all-important match against India. A picture is roaming on social media in which Shoaib Malik is seen with his wife Sania Mirza, Imam-ul-Haq, Wahab Riaz and Imad Wasim in a ‘Sheesha Cafe’.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) turned down all allegations and released a statement saying that the players were in the hotel night before the match.
