The regular captain of Pakistan cricket team Sarfraz Ahmed has high hopes for the upcoming World Cup in England and Wales with having a bunch of quality players in the side.
“PSL victory has given me much-needed confidence and I am positive to show my strength in the upcoming mega event,” Sarfraz said at Karachi Press Club where the champions of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season four Quetta Gladiators were honored for lifting the coveted on March 17 at National Stadium Karachi.
Sarfraz said that this year’s PSL has also highlighted some young talented players who are confident to represent Pakistan in the future. “Almost in all franchises, we had seen a young player making a mark,” he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sarfraz has been rested for the ongoing ODI series against Australia. The green shirts have already lost the first two ODIs under the captaincy of Shoaib Malik.
