Sarfraz Ahmed, Pakistan’s limited-over captain, said while talking to media ahead of the first warm-up game against Bangladesh that he wants to win the multi-nation cricket event and present that victory to his nation as an Eid gift.
He also talked about their practice match against Bangladesh and told that Bangladesh’s team has improved immensely in the last three years. They have quality bowlers as well as batsmen. The practice match will benefit both the teams.
The wicket-keeper batsman said that Pakistan are currently ranked at 8th position in the ODI ranking, thus his men have nothing to lose. The team will not be under any sort of pressure during the campaign that will help them to play their natural game.
Sarfraz Ahmed is determine to perform well in the upcoming clash against the arch-rivals, India on June 4 and wants to win the game for Pakistan.
The captain seems to be satisfied with his team’s performance in the Caribbean and told that they have done well in all aspects of cricket, including fielding.
