The SSP East Karachi Ghulam Azfar Mahesar revealed that the security plan for the scheduled matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Karachi has been finalized.
The Rangers, Police, Traffic Police, Agencies and SSU are a part of security plan during the matches, Mahesar said while talking to the ARY News.
“We have coordinated with all law and enforcement agencies to make this event successful,” he said.
He said that the plan for the deployment of police and Rangers have also been finalised meanwhile the snippers will be deployed on rooftops to further strengthen the security.
“Apart from deployment of police and rangers, bomb disposal squad will also be present at the streets during all five matches,” he added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the five matches out of eight matches are scheduled to take place at National Stadium Karachi.
Karachi Kings will take on Peshawar Zalmi in the first scheduled match in Karachi on March 10 while the National Stadium will host the other four matches including an all-important final on March 13, 15 and 17 respectively.
