Seven Pakistani players leave for England for Champions Trophy

Seven Pakistani players left for England to participate in Champions Trophy, which is scheduled to be played from June 1 to June 18.

Players including Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Imad Wasim, Fakhar Zaman, Junaid Khan and Fahim Ashraf left from Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore for England.

Ahmed Shehzad, who returned from West Indies due to some personal issues, will leave for England on May 18.

Sarfraz Ahmed and seven other players will travel from West Indies to England for the multi-nation cricketing event.

Pakistan will kick off their Champions Trophy campaign on June 4, against the arch-rivals India.

Pakistan and India have come face to face thrice in Champions Trophy and the Men in Green have stood victorious twice.
