Lahore: Pakistan limited-overs vice-captain Shadab Khan is confident of regaining his fitness ahead of the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six, ARY Sports reported.
According to details, the first phase of the rehabilitation program for the 22-year-old has also been completed as the doctors had advised him to rest for four weeks.
Meanwhile, Shadab will report to the PCB medical panel in the upcoming days where his injury will be scanned. All-rounder’s rehabilitation program will be taken forward after the scan report is received.
It must be noted Shadab suffered a blow while batting during the second ODI between Pakistan and South Africa last month in Johannesburg, Wanderers.
“X-rays conducted following the match revealed an ‘intra articular communicated fracture’ though there is neither any displacement nor angulation. The injury will be treated conservatively and Shadab will undergo a four-week rehab,” PCB said.
