Shadab leaves for England to join Pakistan WC sqaud

Pakistan leg-spinner Shadab Khan has left for London where he will be joining Pakistan cricket team to participate in ICC World Cup 2019.

On Tuesday, PCB declared star leg-spinner fit to play the upcoming World Cup, he went through a blood test and the reports didn’t find traces of the viral disease.

Shadab was diagnosed with Hepatitis C Virus in a blood test conducted by the PCB ahead of the mega cricketing event. The virus forced him to get rest during the ODI series against England.

“Bags packed, all geared up for England to join team Pakistan. I am working hard on my treatment and with your support and prayers I will be able to achieve my goals. #PakistanZindabad,” Shadab wrote on his Twitter handle before his departure.

The World Cup 2019 is slated to start on May 30 in England and Wales, Pakistan will play their first match against West Indies on May 31.
